What wet cleaning is
Wet cleaning uses water and a cleaning solution that go into the fabric, then a strong wet-dry vacuum pulls the dirty water back out. Our 4 steps: spray a dedicated cleaning solution, deep-brush the top and sides, wet-dry extraction and strong vacuuming, then 100°C+ steam against germs and dust mites.
Because the water reaches below the surface, it can carry out what has soaked in: sweat, drink spills, water marks and pet urine. The trade-off is drying time: about 4 hours with a fan on.
What "dry cleaning" usually means in Malaysia
When a mattress or sofa service in Malaysia is called "dry cleaning", it usually means vacuuming with a machine whose head vibrates or beats the fabric, so dust, skin flakes and some dust mites are shaken loose and sucked up. No water or cleaning solution goes in, so you can use the bed straight away.
It does lift loose dust from the surface. But a vacuum cannot dissolve anything, so what has soaked into the fabric stays there: sweat, yellow marks, drink spills, water marks and pet urine. Often the same machine is the one being demonstrated and sold to you.

Many sofas carry a cleaning code. W means water-based cleaning is fine, W/S means water or solvent, S means solvent only, and X means vacuum only. Send us a photo of the tag with your sofa photos; if your sofa should not be wet-cleaned, we tell you honestly before booking rather than after.
